Word2007打开时总出现 the setup controller has encountered

Word2007打开时总出现 the setup controller has encountered a problem during install. Please review the log files for further informatin on the error.
弹出如下窗口：

百度搜索一致的解决办法是：
找到C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller，将这个文件夹删除或改名，就不再出现提示了

但是有时用户会发现这个文件夹根本找不到！其实win7系统是这样的：C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller

也就是找不到可以到（x86）相应的目录下查找！
